Kim Schiller, DVM

Dr. Schiller is a 1980 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University. He served with the U.S. Army Veterinary Corps, active and reserve, for more than 20 years and was highly decorated for service during the Persian Gulf War. Dr. Schiller’s small animal expertise has been honed over 13 years in the “Animal ER” as well as extensive experience in general practice. He earned Board Certification in the specialty of Canine/Feline Practice and is one of only eight veterinarians in the state of Virginia to be so distinguished. Currently, Dr. Schiller is one of nine internal medicine consultants working for the Veterinary Information Network (www.vin.com), a group of 10,000 veterinarians worldwide with a common interest, to be kept informed of the most up-to-date medical information available.

Karli, LVT

Ms. Plummer is a graduate of the veterinary technician program at Northern Virginia Community College. Her main focus is animal dentistry and is one of few technicians in the United States to have earned certification by the American Society of Veterinary Dental Technicians. Karli is a leader in veterinary pain management nursing.

Cameron is a full-time receptionist and veterinary assistant.  Cameron
is a
member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and offers obedience training here at Colvin Run.  She is also a very active lead volunteer with a non-euthanizing dog and cat rescue in Virginia.  





Joanna
Joanna's Dog Hazel
Joanna is a full-time and very valuable veterinary assistant.  Joanna does everything from surgical assist to basic animal care to collecting blood samples.  You might also know Joanna's dog Hazel who spends his days sleeping and playing in the reception area.  Hazel is a very sweet Brittany Spaniel!

Kathy is our part-time (and indispensable) receptionist and assistant. She has a vast background in managing a veterinary offices.  Aren't her two cats cuties?
